Dare to live a unique experience in the heart of the Coffee Region, bird watching in the Boquia and El Agrado villages will be carried out by local experts who will take you to explore mountainous landscapes while observing a diversity of birds and enjoy an exquisite coffee in the Famous El Agrado Coffee Farm. This activity combines the natural beauty of Salento with the excitement of ornithology, providing you with the opportunity to connect with Colombia's biodiversity in an unparalleled environment.
Barbas-Bremen Birding from Rural Adventure
ITINERARY
The tour begins at 6:10 am, at the "El Fogón" restaurant in Boquia, from where we will go to the Agrado path, the sighting will be through a matrix of secondary forest covers and a coffee landscape. At 8:30 am there will be a stop for breakfast. The identification of the species will be done through binoculars, camera, bird guide "Avifauna Colombiana" by Fernando Ayerbe, and also through songs. There will be a stop at the Quindío River where you can observe some aquatic species. The tour will end at the "El Ocaso" farm where we can enjoy a delicious coffee, then we will return to the El Agrado village where the Jeep will be waiting for us at the "El Fogón" restaurant. The birds observed will be fed back by reviewing the checklist.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is necessary to bring protection against rain and sun, as well as hydration, comfortable clothing without bright colors to optimize bird watching.
