The "bejuqueando ando" vine basket weaving workshop is a form of experiential tourism that consists of our visitors knowing, interacting and learning about the artisanal craft of basket weaving, all its processes and production techniques that have remained associated for more than 100 years. to coffee production, as tradition and intangible heritage in the department of Quindío.
Bejuqueando Ando (Forest Tour) by Rural Adventure
ITINERARY
It all starts in the Filandia park where we will transport you in a Jeep to a guided tour through the forest in which you will be able to learn about the entire process of collecting, planting and preparing the vines used in making the baskets, then we will make a visit to the Bejuco and Canasto Interpretation Center where you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour in order to learn about the history and processes of making coffee baskets, later you will participate in a Micro-workshop where you can make your OWN BASKET (Includes Materials, supplies and tools). Finally, you will take a tour of the Artisans' Quarter (visit to workshops).
