Rafting on the La Vieja River by Rural Adventure

ITINERARY

The adventure begins in the urban area of the Municipality of Quimbaya, leaving the starting point by Jeep, to Puerto Alejandría where the rafts will be waiting for us to begin the journey downriver. Halfway through the trip we will make a stop in order to take a walk to the "Los Micos" Waterfall, later we will take the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch (Fiambre) in the middle of nature. The tour will end in Piedras de Moler (Alcalá) where a jeep will bring us back to the starting point in Quimbaya.

RECOMMENDATIONS

- Follow the recommendations and instructions of the guides.

- Wear comfortable shoes that can get wet.

- Do not wear flip-flops or sandals that can come off your feet and get lost in the river.

- Do not drink water from the river.

- Do not carry valuables.

- Children are the responsibility of their parents.

- Do not participate in the activity under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances.

- Entrance to the "Los Micos" Waterfall (Entrance is optional and the entrance fee is paid in cash directly to the owner of the property where the waterfall is located). For the year 2024 the entrance fee is approximately $8,000 COP.

- Transportation from other municipalities (If required, we can provide it at an additional cost).
