This adrenaline-filled experience happens in the Municipality of Buenavista “Mirador del Quindío” (formerly El Tolrá) which is located on a hill in the Central Mountain Range. The aborigines of these lands were the Pijaos, the Quimbayas and the Quindos Indians. Buenavista belongs to the Coffee Cultural Landscape - PPC, it is a cultural landscape in which natural, economic and cultural elements are combined with a high degree of homogeneity in the region, and which constitutes an exceptional case in the world. In this landscape the human, family and generational efforts of coffee growers are combined.
Rural Adventure Paragliding
ITINERARY
The meeting point will be the main park of the Municipality of Buenavista, where we will go to the Flight Track located on Cerro las tres cruzes of the Municipality (about 15 minutes away). Once on the track you will perform the jump in the company of an instructor, where you can enjoy the landscape made up of crops, mountains and valley. At the end of the flight we will pick you up again and drop you off at the starting point. The entire activity from the moment of the meeting until the return can last one hour and ten minutes (1:10 hrs), otherwise we have delays due to weather.
INCLUDES
- Approximate video of 4 to 5 minutes and 30 photographs that are sent to email through wetransfer, five (5) days after carrying out the activity. These are taken with a GoPro Hero camera.
- Accompaniment of Pilots certified by the Colombian Air Sports Federation with more than 15 years of experience in the activity.
- Medical assistance policy.
TERMS OF THE ACTIVITY
- You should ALWAYS keep in mind that paragliding activity is subject to weather conditions, for this reason we do not offer an exact flight time.
- We offer you an experience focused on safety and the Coffee Cultural Landscape; This experience lasts approximately 10 to 15 minutes depending on the weather conditions at the time of the flight.
- It must be kept in mind that paragliding can be done by anyone; We only have the following exceptions; We cannot do the activity with people who:
- Children weighing less than 18 kilos or adults weighing more than 95 kilos.
- People with recent surgeries.
- Pregnant women.
- People intoxicated or under the effect of psychoactive substances.
- It is important that minor children attend accompanied by one of their parents and sign an authorization that will be delivered to the meeting place to be filled out.
- When a pilot decides to wait or cancel the activity it is solely and exclusively because the conditions do not exist to carry it out safely. If the flight cannot be made due to meteorological or physical variables, the flight date will be rescheduled.
SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS
– Tight shoes such as boots or tennis shoes are mandatory. Sandals or heels should not be worn.
– We suggest wearing long pants (Optional).
– They can wear glasses and/or a cap during the flight.
– It is very important not to appear at the activity site in a state of intoxication or under the use of psychoactive substances and/or consume them during the flight activity.
– Do not overeat before the activity.
– They must keep in mind the identity document number: ID, passport or identity card to issue insurance policies.
– It is important not to omit information in the health declaration form.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- Any material loss or accident is the responsibility of the client.
- The service is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions. If the weather does not allow us to fly and it cannot be rescheduled, all money will be refunded.
- The Itinerary may vary at the discretion of the operator, always to guarantee the safety of the traveler and the best development of the service.
- If you decide to withdraw before completing the service or do not attend on the day of the activity, it will be considered "Done" without room for Claims, Postponements or Returns.
Paraglider: The two-seater is a paraglider designed to carry two people, pilot and passenger; without the need for the passenger to have any prior knowledge of this form of flight.
Flight Equipment: Two-seater wing, pilot harness and passenger harness, safety helmets, emergency parachutes, separators, carabiners, radios and boots. We are certified under the Sectoral Technical Standard AV-013.
FEEDING
The previous experience has the option of including food which is provided by the RIO AZUL Restaurant according to the following menu:

- Our dish with chicken
NOTE: The previous dishes are made up of an appetizer, main course, drink and dessert. The reservation of the experience that includes food must be made 24 hours in advance if it is from Wednesday to Sunday or holidays, Mondays that are not holidays or Tuesdays can be reserved as long as the group is greater than 5 people.
