Café La Morelia is a symbol that represents not only the brand of our flagship product, but also the result of a family tradition of more than 50 years dedicated to growing coffee in the green and fertile fields of the Department of Quindío.
The La Morelia farm, from which our name is derived, was acquired in 1982 by Mr. Gilberto Torres and his wife, Cecilia Valencia, in a rural area of the El Caimo district, 10 minutes from Armenia. Planting, harvesting, and processing marked the development of an activity that quickly achieved high-quality standards in the selection of coffee beans. Their three children reaped the rewards of their parents' labors and joined this cause.
